Cockatrice (コッカトリス Kokkatorisu) is the first boss from Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, a large dragon creature with bird-like features.
The Cockatrice will attack in air by either spitting out a egg that holds a Miniwing or its neck stretch out to the ground.
Towards later levels Cockatrice Heads will appear, which are basically the head and neck of a Cockatrice.
