A Treasure Chest (宝箱) is a recurring object from the series that usually contains an item (such as money, weapons, and armors), but sometimes it may also have a Magician or a trap. Most are usually hidden and require the player to do a specific action to reveal them. Their contents are not completely random, they have a pattern that depends of its position and Arthur's current equipment, and some always have the same contents.
In Maximo vs. Army of Zin, some chests are locked and require a Key to be opened.
